Press Release Body: Phoenix, AZ, July 9th, 2008, FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE- MetaMorph Strategies, a Phoenix-based integrated marketing firm, is currently accepting entries for its First Annual 'No-Go Logo' Contest. A 'No-Go Logo' is a logo that is outdated, is poorly designed, or does not represent the company's brand. The contest is open to any company based in the United States that has been in business for at least one year at the time of entry submission, and has a logo that has negatively impacted business. The deadline for entry is August 31, 2008, one winner will be chosen and announced in the company's eNewsletter, Transformations, on September 5, 2008. Entries may be submitted at NoGoLogoAZ.com
Jennifer Maggiore, VP/COO said Wednesday, "We have found that there is an overall heightened awareness of visual design and branding, especially with the huge shift of marketing dollars to the Internet- companies have access to an unlimited audience. It is more important than ever that a company put its best foot forward with a well-designed, well-thought-out logo that truly represents that company's brand. Many business owners may be shrewd entrepreneurs, but they do not know where to start in finding a firm that will excel at representing their company, or do not understand why a logo is so crucial. We want to help business owners poke a little fun at their logos while demonstrating why a logo is the foundation for a cohesive brand, and how a logo may be the foundation for overall branding efforts."
All entries will receive feedback and suggestions on how to improve the companies' logos. One winner will be chosen and announced in the Transformations eNewsletter on September 5, 2008. The prize includes a one hour phone interview to understand the winning company's brand and 3 new logo design concepts to choose from.
